District 6 "5th week" update and request for input
Hello neighbors, We are in what I think of as the last week of summer, regardless of the "official" first day of autumn. We have the Labor Day weekend coming up and schools have either started or will be starting in the next few days. We are also in the middle of a "fifth week" in Common Council life, where we have no scheduled council or committee meetings. By the Council rules, meetings are the first and third Wednesday of the month, with committee meetings happening the week after the council meeting. INPUT REQUESTED – Please let me know what you think of these proposed changes: We’ll be back in session on September 5 th , where one of the items on the agenda will be a resolution recommended for approval by the Municipal Services Committee last Monday.
